The City of Monona seeks proposals from qualified planning individuals or project teams to prepare an update to the City’s Comprehensive Plan to articulate the current needs of the Community. This Plan is meant to reflect the direction of elected officials, City Staff, stakeholders, and community members, and be based on a meaningful sense of the housing market, commercial and business redevelopment opportunities, and how they affect the City of Monona. The Plan update should 1) serve as a manual for land use policy making and zoning decisions by applicable commissions and elected officials, and 2) have a streamlined version for public use. To that end, the format of the document should be modernized and formatted to utilize modern tables and graphics to the greatest extent possible.
