Task 1: Project Management - 9 to 12 months The consultant is responsible, in collaboration with the Town of Hamden Planning and Zoning Department, for developing a project schedule, which will include bi-monthly meetings. The consultant will be responsible for providing meeting summaries and reports as needed. The consultant is responsible for confirming project goals with Town of Hamden staff and reviewing existing and future town/state projects that will inform Task 4 – Analysis. Task 2: Inventory & Base Mapping - 1 month Review of available resources including, but not limited to Town of Hamden GIS, State of CT GIS, SCRCOG GIS, FEMA Flood Mapping, Assessor’s Database. To identify pedestrian infrastructure, development (commercial, residential, mixed-use), municipal parcels, and other information as needed to develop a base map. The compiled base map should be compiled in an AutoCAD and ArcGIS Formats. Task 3: Regulatory Review - 1 month Review and summary of existing Zoning Regulations, Town of Hamden Plan of Conservation and Development, Affordable Housing Plan, Complete Streets Policy and relevant Regional Plans (Plan of Conservation and Development, UPWP).
