It is the intent of Spartanburg School District Two (hereinafter referred to as the “District”) to solicit sealed bids for the removal and disposal of the existing outdoor scoreboard and for the purchase and installation of a new outdoor scoreboard system, utilizing existing electrical infrastructure. The new system shall include a video display, integrated audio components, play clocks, and support for curriculum integration at Boiling Springs High School. All installed equipment must be new and in unused condition. (2251 Old Furnace Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). The district is made up of 2 high schools, 3 middle schools and 9 elementary school with an enrollment over 11,000 students. This solicitation does not commit Spartanburg School District 2 to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in preparation of a bid, or to procure any services that may be offered. 1. If modules should need replacement during the life of the display, the calibration software must match newer modules’ brightness levels to older modules’ levels to preserve picture quality and maintain a uniform display appearance.
