This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (“Authority”, “EDA”) to solicit Proposals for the purpose of establishing an international landing center (“NJ BASE”) designed to attract and support foreign companies that have an interest in locating their business in New Jersey while expanding into the U.S. market. The NJ BASE, overseen by the Authority, serves as a landing pad for international companies looking to establish their presence within the United States. Specifically, the NJ BASE will provide marketing support to attract companies who will participate in its Business Immersion Program (Participants). The NJ BASE environment will offer flexible co-working, subsidized office space tailored to the needs of Participants while also creating a curated and immersive ecosystem. Departments within the NJEDA that aim to provide support are the NJEDA Technology Innovation Department, NJEDA Office of International Innovation and Partnerships, NJEDA Venture Team, New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology (CSIT), as well as the possibility of various other departments at the NJEDA. NJEDA will also share information about Authority tax credits, grants, and incentives offered by these departments.
