The City of San José (City) is soliciting responses from qualified financial institutions (collectively, Proposers) to establish a pool of qualified institutions that can serve as Prepay Supplier, Underwriter, or other related role(s) in future energy prepayment transactions utilizing renewable power purchase agreements held in the energy portfolio of the San José Energy Department of the City (Energy Department). This Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify experienced, highly rated financial institutions that can meet City requirements to structure and market renewable energy prepayment transactions for the next five (5) years, approximately. Responsive proposals shall address prepay supplier, bond underwriting, swap counterparty, and other related support services to execute successful renewable energy prepayment transactions.
