Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Securitas Technology Corporation (Securitas) has installed proprietary security systems at the following locations: the Florida State Fire College campus in Ocala; three CID Bureau of Insurance Fraud offices in Lake Wales, Fort. Myers, and Tampa; and the SFM office in Tampa. The Department also requires security monitoring services at all locations except the Florida State Fire College, which uses the proprietary systems in conjunction with other monitoring services. The security systems provide camera surveillance, card readers, and a detailed log of all persons who enter the premises, as well as visual recordings of all vehicle tag numbers that enter the Florida State Fire College. Card readers also deny or allow access to any area of the campus or field office. Periodic maintenance and software updates are needed for the installed systems at all listed locations, which only Securitas is uthorized to provide.
