Scope of work for base bid includes the following: White Point Garden (2 Murray Blvd) • Clean and Waxing: o The Little Dancer: bronze figure atop a short stone pedestal with a bubbling fountain. Approximately 20” x 20” x 42” h o Confederate Defenders of Charleston (Fort Sumter Monument): bronze 10’ statue on top of a 6’ -6” granite base set in a circular plaza of granite. o Defenders of Ft. Moultrie Monument (Jasper Monument): bronze statue on granite pedestal with multiple bronze plaques and engravings. Approximately 96” x 96” x 200” h o Bust of William Gilmore Simms: bronze bust atop granite pedestal, approximately 6’ tall. Restored in 2001 and cleaned in 2010. o Torpedo Boat Monument (“ Hunley Fountain” ): Bronze plaque and dolphins on granite base and monolith, approximately 76” x 16” x 84” h. Conservation in 2001 and cleaned 2010. (complete refinishing) o William Moultrie Statue: bronze statue atop granite pedestal with engravings o USS Hobson Memorial bronze plaque: approximately 60” x 40” o USS Amberjack Memorial bronze plaque (complete refinishing) o Stede Bonnet Memorial granite plaque (complete refinishing) • Cleaning and Repainting: o WWI Howitzer: iron gun on brick plinth.
