The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is seeking qualified consultants to provide professional passenger air service development services under the direction of MAC’s Director of Air Service Development. The selected consultant will support MAC by advising and assisting in the creation of air service marketing materials and route forecasts to attract new airline service to Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). Responsibilities include ongoing analysis of air service trends and conditions at MSP, providing data-driven reports and insights, supporting meetings with airlines and key stakeholders such as business and tourism officials, and helping coordinate those engagements when needed. The consultant will also interpret corporate travel data to identify business travel trends, conduct studies to refine air service recruitment and retention strategies, and assist in the preparation of annual strategic plans. Additionally, the consultant will advise MAC on airline competition, government relations, international air service matters, and relevant bilateral agreements.
