Winnebago County is soliciting proposals from a qualified Contractor to provide lawn mowing and landscaping services at the UW Fox Cities Campus. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mowing and Trimming; Maintain grass at 3" to 6" height at all times. Trim any area inaccessible to mowers; Vegetation and Weed control; If used, apply the minimum amount of chemical herbicide to control weeds in sidewalk cracks and structure edges; Prevent growth of undesirable plants; Remove & dispose of undesirable or overgrown plants, fallen sticks and leaves; Provide the brand name, manufacturer and Safety Data Sheet of all chemicals used; No chemicals shall be used in the area surrounding the Child Care Center; All necessary and legally required posting of chemical usage shall be followed; Debris; Keep walkways, parking lots, planting beds, entrances and drains free from clippings, sticks, leaves, trash and debris; Avoid adding clippings to paved or landscaped areas, and blow or sweep them clean when work is completed. Trash shall be picked up and not mowed over. Trash and leaves shall be disposed of in an approved manner, and NOT within receptacles on the property
