● Device A must be a clamp-on current transformer (CT) device capable of measuring and reporting live or nearly-live electrical current readings (total consumption in kWh and peak demand in kW) via LoRaWAN. This device should be self-powered and simple to install with a maximum amperage of 4000A. Please specify different amperage options that are available with corresponding pricing. ○ A preliminary evaluation has determined that the University of Mississippi will need a total of 693 of these devices for the entire campus. ○ For pricing purposes, assume ⅓ of the buildings have electrical service no greater than 1000A, ⅓ of the buildings have electrical service between 1000A 1500A, and the remaining ⅓ of buildings have electrical service between 1500A and 4000A. Please indicate if there are additional costs associated with sizing the devices for campus. ○ Supplier should include 20 additional devices (7 devices for buildings ≤ 1000A; 7 for between 1000A and 1500A; and 6 for between 1500A and 4000A) for backstock, for a total of 713 total). ● Device B must be a battery-powered pulse device that can interface with pulse-output water or natural gas meters and transmit meter pulses wirelessly via LoRaWAN. Data transmission frequency must be configurable with a minimum sampling rate of 15 minutes. ○ A preliminary evaluation has determined that the University of Mississippi will need a total of 298 of these devices for the entire campus. ○ Supplier should include 20 additional devices for backstock (318 total). ● Device C must be a retrofitting device capable of sensing internal movements of meters and outputting a pulse signal. ○ A preliminary evaluation has determined that the University of Mississippi will need 298 of these devices for retrofitting needs across campus. ○ Supplier should include 15 additional devices for backstock (318 total).
