The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) requests bids from construction companies ("Contractor) to provide repair work for nineteen (19) GLWA Outfalls (B-46, B-49, B-50, B-54, B-56/57/58, B-60/61/62, B-63, B-64, B-65, B-67/68, B-69/70, B-71, B-72, B-77, B-79, B-80/81, B-82, B-85, and B-87) in accordance with the attached Specifications and Drawings. The repair work is near the Northwest Interceptor alignment starting furthest downstream near Carbon Street and furthest upstream near Berg Road at nineteen distinct and separate locations. The repair work for the outfalls is expected to consist of spot repairs, debris removal, spray lining, CIPP lining, CCTV inspection, manhole frame and cover replacement, and other items as identified in the Drawings. As part of GLWA’s ongoing maintenance and operation plans, various outfalls were selected by GLWA to be inspected and repaired to ensure long-term structural integrity. Manual entry inspections, remote-operated vehicle (ROV) inspections, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspections were completed on the outfalls. Based on the above inspections, a repair plan was formulated for each outfall. This includes rehabilitation of the above-identified outfalls including cleaning, structural repairs, manhole frame and cover replacement, spray lining, CIPP lining, CCTV inspection, and more.
