Greenville Technical College intends to purchase nine (9) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Training Systems. These refrigerative systems shall be Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TEV) controlled demonstrating the principles, mechanics, and maintenance aspects of industrial refrigeration systems. The system must have the following characteristics and components: • Be R-134a-based or A2L refrigerant completely factory assembled and tested. • Be a mobile demonstration carrier unit with a workbench-style base with wheels that have a locking mechanism to stabilize while the unit is in use. • The power requirement must be 120V AC 1Ø 60Hz. • Hermetic compressor and mounting frame • Instrument/control panel • Gauges reading evaporation and condensing pressures • Temperature wells in logical and strategic locations to permit temperature measurements • Evaporator in a box with its fan, permitting the compressor to cycle based on evaporating pressure located in the unit under the workbench • Faulted components that can be temporarily installed in place of functioning components • Fault system must include: 1) Air Flow Restrictor, 2) Deflection Shield, 3) TEV-Faulted Orifice, 4) TEV-Faulted Screen 5) Faulted Filter-Drier
