Wakulla County, Florida through Invitation to Bid No. 2025-12 is soliciting bids from qualified businesses registered to do business in the State of Florida to resurface Whiddon Lake Road from SR 61 (US 319) Crawfordville Highway to Stokley Road. The project is approximately 1.15 miles in length. The scope of work will include resurfacing existing 10' travel lanes with grassed shoulders. Drainage improvements will include redressing roadside swales as necessary for positive drainage, along with dross drain extensions, as needed. Signage will be evaluated to determine the need for additional signs, correcting redundant or conflicting signage and the replacement of existing signage. New thermoplastic striping and RPMs will also be included in the project. All necessary permitting activities will be included as part of this project, including the identification, coordination, and applications for all permits necessary to construct this project.
