1. Provide refuse (trash) removal and recycling services at thirteen (13) locations for a two year term with an option for three additional one-year renewals upon Downers Grove Grade School District 58's acceptance and satisfaction of the vendor's prior year's performance and service. The terms of the agreement for refuse removal and recycle service shall be from AUGUST 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. Annual renegotiations of the price charged to Downers Grove Grade School District 58 must not exceed the Consumer Price Index (CPI) Annualized Rate for December of the current school year, with a cap of a 5% increase. Before price increases can be implemented, the Vendor/Contractor shall document through cost analysis the need for such increase. 2. Provide all the appropriate dumpsters, containers, and carts necessary to fulfill contract obligations. Prior to the 2026-2027 school year, container sizes and frequency of service at each site will be reviewed prior to the start of the 26/27 school year. 3. Within thirty (30) days of award of contract, deliver necessary equipment and begin services. Within sixty (60) days of contract award mark all outside containers “For School Use Only”.
