Contractor must provide youth-specific direct permanency services and assistance to the target population in the following areas: Family Finding Contractor must assign social workers with the required Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees to work with referred youth in finding a permanent home. Contractor must give preference to those with degrees in a social work-related discipline, and those with Master’s degrees. (2) Contractor must conduct Family Finding and Engagement services for at least 50 youths annually. This process involves concerted efforts to find and engage relatives and other kin to provide legal and emotional permanency options. It includes discovery, exploring files and records, documenting contacts, assessing the quality of relationships, mapping connectedness, and engagement through phone calls, in-person interviews, and family team meetings. Family Evaluation Services Contractor must operate as a Foster Family Agency (FFA) under Community Care Licensing standards. Contractor must complete Family Evaluations for at least 30 RFA applicants, per year, referred by ACPD in accordance with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Foster Family Agencies Interim Licensing Standards. Family Evaluation must involve interviews with applicants and Resource Families to assess their family dynamics, strengths, and identify areas needing additional support or resources to improve parenting skills.
