8.1 On-Site Maintenance and Show Support The selected vendor shall: a) Provide all labor to install, maintain, and repair voice and data cabling systems throughout the Convention Center. b) Support the Authority’s Administrative Telephone System, Contractor Telephone services, and associated cabling infrastructure. c) Install, operate, and maintain temporary and permanent cabling systems including but not limited to Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables for LAN and inter-building connections. d) Perform cable moves, adds, changes, and deletions as directed. e) Provide support for telephone systems and other special or conditioned access services. 8.2 Capital Project Support On a project-by-project basis, the vendor may be requested to: a) Submit proposals for cabling and equipment installation related to specific capital improvement projects. b) Assist with scope definition, physical installation, and resource planning. c) Conduct post-installation testing and validation (e.g., continuity, cross-talk, impedance). d) Provide documentation as requested. 8.3 Technical Oversight / Owner’s Representation Upon request, the vendor may serve in a project oversight role, providing: a) Cost tracking, scope adherence, and quality assurance services. b) Reports to PCCA management regarding progress and compliance. c) Oversight of third-party contractors executing physical infrastructure work. 8.4 Emergency and After-Hours Response The vendor must: a) Be available 24/7, 365 days a year for emergency or scheduled service as directed. b) Provide a 24-hour answering service and points of contact for urgent issues. c) Ensure availability of personnel to support after-hours, weekend, and holiday operations as needed. 8.5 Personnel Requirements a) All personnel must be fully trained and certified in the installation and maintenance of network and telecommunications systems. b) Staff must comply with PCCA’s safety policies and all applicable laws and regulations. c) The vendor must provide replacement personnel in case of absences or scheduling needs. d) The vendor must provide its personnel with standard tools, materials and supplies in order to perform the service.
