The Consultant may conduct geologic and geotechnical investigations and may provide design recommendations for Water and Land Resources Division (WLRD) projects including construction, relocation, reconstruction, or repair of surface water or riverine facilities and for floodplain, wetland or aquatic habitat enhancements. Work may include landscape-scale mapping of landslide hazards. Typical services anticipated under this contract may include but are not limited to the assessment of soil bearing capacity, settlement, seepage potential, seismic liquefaction potential, stability of natural and constructed slopes under static and seismic loadings, bank armor designs, geotechnical parameters for log structure design, geologic site characterizations, and other related services.
