A. Pumping service is to be performed for each of the tanks listed in SCHEDULE OF SERVICES according to the specified schedule. Each service shall consist of completely pumping out the tank, removing any garbage or debris, cleaning the tank walls and floor with a pressurized stream of water, and appropriately hauling and discharging the pumped waste according to subsection D below. Pumping and hauling shall be done with care to prevent spillage of any waste and shall meet all requirements of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California. B. All objects, garbage and debris must be removed from holding tanks each time the tanks are pumped. Contractor is responsible for filtering and removal/disposal of all non-waste items from inside tanks, pit tanks and chemical toilets on or upon pumping and cleaning unrelated to sewage, such as rocks, hazardous waste items such as syringes, etc.
