The Consultant shall update PWD's WSCP as a separate plan document. The purpose of the WSCP is to prepare for and respond to water shortages. It provides specific actions to be taken during the various stages of a water shortage. The WSCP must demonstrate the ability of PWD to meet demands under a supply shortage of greater than 50 percent, with a minimum 6-levels of shortage. • The Consultant shall Prepare a WSCP as part of the UWMP as described in CWC §10632 • Provide a recommendation for the six standard water shortage levels based on water supply conditions and shortage response actions that align with each level. The Consultant will be primarily responsible for the writing and formatting of all sections of the UWMP in accordance with the California Water Code (CWC) requirements following guidance from DWR’s 2025 UWMP Guidebook to be released. This includes preparation of the report that will allow easy uploading to DWR in the required electronic format. The Scope of Work under Task 6 shall include but is not limited to the following: • Produce new graphics and figures • Prepare the Draft UWMP including all necessary appendices and DWR tables for review and comment • Complete the DWR UWMP Preparation Checklist • Prepare public hearing notices and notices of availability as required • Receive, review, and incorporate comments from the Draft UWMP • Prepare a Final Draft UWMP for adoption in accordance with the requirements of the UWMP Act...
