It is the intention of Davis County (hereinafter "Customer") to procure office furniture for the Davis County Emergency Operations Center (the “EOC”). Recipients of the Request for Proposal hereinafter shall be referred to as "Supplier". It is Customer's procurement policy to seek out and purchase technically suitable products and services with the best overall design solutions available. Supplier must analyze and respond to this RFP and provide sufficient information to allow Customer to evaluate the proposal. The decision in the selection of a supplier may not rest solely on the lowest cost. Davis County’s intent is to purchase furniture for their new EOC. The design criteria in this document have been developed with comfort, safety, efficiency, durability, and productivity of the Davis County employees as its primary focus, and is not intended to mirror the performance characteristics of a specific manufacturer’s product, but to establish performance criteria required to best accommodate a range of users. Any manufacturer’s product which meets or exceeds these performance requirements will be given serious considerations.
