The Contractor shall inspect and use the best treatment for bed bugs, rats, mice, cockroaches, fleas, snakes, silverfish, stinging insects crickets, earwigs, millipedes, centipede, birds, bats, squirrels, ants, moths, spiders, water bugs, beetles, arthropod pest, winged termite swarms emerging indoors, and like vermin plus any other pests not specifically excluded from the contract. Rat and mouse infestations located in burrows in the ground adjacent to buildings are included. 5.7 If any pests are discovered by the University personnel and identified as a serious problem, the contractor will respond within 24 hours after notification to correct the situation. 5.8 The Contractor shall, when necessary, install/remove rodent bait boxes; the contractor will supply a written report to the University Staff which indicates the box location, date of installation, and removal. 5.8.1 The Contractor shall provide the Facilities Management Office with a rodent equipment placement listing describing the location and type of each rodent device placed within the University’s owned or leased buildings on University property.
