Work shall include examining debris to determine whether debris is eligible, burnable or non-burnable, loading the debris, hauling debris to approved debris management sites or landfill(s), reducing the debris, hauling the debris to an approved disposal facility, and dumping the debris at the disposal facility or landfill. Debris not defined as eligible by the Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide (PAPPG) version 5, or State or Federal DSGs, or policies will not be loaded, hauled, or dumped under this contract unless written instructions are given to the contractor by the City. It shall be the contractor’s responsibility to collect, load, transport, reduce, and properly dispose of all disaster generated debris which is the result of the event under which the contractor was issued a notice to proceed, unless otherwise directed by the City in writing.
