The University of Texas at San Antonio (University) is seeking one or more qualified vendors to perform on a as needed basis the installation of Access Control Systems and Emergency Phones for The University’s Department of Public Safety on an as needed basis. The system must be reliable, feature rich and flexible which does not require frequent and costly upgrades to remain operational for the university, in accordance with the specifications and requirements contained in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Orders will be placed for various locations across the University, including new construction, renovations, department expansions, relocations, or any other scenarios requiring the installation, relocation, or removal of items listed in this RFP. Service requests may arise when in-house staff lack the expertise, the job exceeds staff capacity, or other circumstances necessitate outside contractor assistance. Additionally, there may be instances where the University requires materials only and will handle the services in-house.
