The GLO is requesting bids for three (3) new 2025 model, marine vessels with outboard motors and trailers, with specifications needed for oil spill applications that prioritizes structural integrity, sturdiness and safety. These vessels must be corrosion resistant, and designed and manufactured to structurally withstand a harsh marine environment including exposure to UV rays, saltwater, and physical impacts. The vessel specifications emphasize a robust hull construction which must be structurally stable and impact resistant. The specifications are intended to detail the requirements and describe the specific work application. Responses must meet specifications exactly or show how their vessels will meet the requirements and applications. New Equipment ONLY: NO re-manufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The unit shall be made ready for continuous operation upon delivery. A used or pre-owned vessel in not acceptable. Respondent is cautioned that any unit delivered to the FOB point that does not meet specifications in every aspect will not be accepted. Vessel shall have warranty against manufacturer defects of at least one (1) year. Vessel hull shall have a warranty against manufacturer or workmanship defects of at least five (5) years. Engine shall have a warranty against manufacturer defects of at least one (1) year. Trailer shall have a warranty against manufacturer defects of at least three (3) years. Responses must specify boat and trailer make and model, engine make and model, and warranty information. Respondent must have a minimum of five (5) years, or the principals/owners must have had ownership/executive management experience in a previous company that built custom marine vessels. Respondent must have a demonstrated record of providing timely delivery.
