The Consultant will prepare a draft and final Data Collection and Integration Plan, in collaboration with the LADOT PM, to identify and finalize the mobility data variables to be collected, the format of each variable, the time of data collection, the locations of data collection, and the data integration approach. The Data Collection and Integration Plan needs to describe how the data will be collected and stored in the CDS format. Before the digitization begins, the Data Collection and Integration Plan will be finalized with the LADOT PM to ensure that it comprehensively covers data needs for program evaluation. Upon finalizing the Data Collection and Integration Plan, the Consultant will be responsible for installing the camera technology at the locations agreed upon by the LADOT PM and work to integrate the data with LADOT’s data platform. Consultant shall be expected to work with relevant City departments to ensure timely installation of camera technology. Integration of CDS-formatted Events data needs to be completed and tested by Q4 2025 to ensure timely completion of the project according to USDOT’s SMART grant implementation timeline. This is to note that the curbside data will be made publicly available via the CDS format (See Section 4. Other Requirements for additional information).
