The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles seeks contractors to update and modernize our Board of Commissioners meeting room to enhance functionality and aesthetics. The Board Room is located at 2600 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90057. The size of the Board Room is 2586 SF. All work shall be completed in close coordination with the project architect, as outlined in the associated plan set and specifications, which were posted to RAMP with this solicitation. Demolition: 1. Remove existing floor linoleum; 2. Remove existing light fixtures in the ceiling; 3. Remove old millwork wood desk top of the Board Room desk; 4. Remove Board Room desk supporting wall at the south end; Update the finishes in the 1st floor (2586 SF) Board Room: 1. Reface interior doors with new laminate finish; 2. New LVT on floor; 3. New light fixtures in existing T-grid; 4. New paint, wallpaper and wall tile as shown in Plan Set; 5. Remove and replace wood Board Room desk top and extend to add additional seat. Add matching raceway to top of new desk top. Expand the raised floor to accommodate the additional seat. Relocate the existing junction box to the new desk support wall at the south end. 6. Provide data and power for each of the 8 seats at the Board Room desk and for each of the 7 seats in front of the dais.
