The project generally consists of the reconstruction and construction of approximately one thousand three hundred (1,300’) lineal feet of ten (10’) feet wide hot mix asphalt (HMA) walkway located within the Municipal Complex and War Memorial Park property of the Borough of Sayreville. The work involved with these improvements includes site clearing and grading; soil erosion and sediment control measures; installation of approximately 30 lineal feet +/- of 12” diameter RCP Class V storm sewer pipe reach including construction of new inlet structure; installation of approximately 50 lineal feet +/- of 3” PVC Schedule 80 underground electrical conduit for the installation of conductors by others; the removal and replacement of concrete curb; removal of approximately 6,000 square feet +/- of existing concrete sidewalks, slabs and/or driveway aprons; construction of approximately 100 square feet +/- of 6” thick reinforced concrete sidewalk / apron with cast-in-place handicapped sidewalk ramp delineation; walkway milling of approximately 650 square yards +/- of existing asphalt walkway; resurfacing the milled surface of existing asphalt walkway with approximately 650 square yards +/- of HMA surface course material; construction of approximately 900 square yards +/- of new HMA walkway including dense graded aggregate sub-base, HMA base course and HMA surface course material; furnishing and installation of topsoil and seed; Borough property restoration, and all other preparation, restoration and associated work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
