1.1 Purpose At the onset of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, Cascade Township improved their Audio/Visual (A/V) and Streaming solutions in order to comply with the open meetings act and engage residents. Five years later, we have an amalgamation of equipment servicing Wisner Center: the location where we hold community meetings and library programming. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal to supply A/V, virtual and streaming solutions to Cascade Township to enhance the quality, reliability, and cohesion of the system. The current A/V systems are outdated and need to be updated and augmented with new systems and equipment to allow for live web broadcasting, hybrid (combined in-person and teleconference) meetings, and video recording of other meetings, workshops, and events.
