Warren County is accepting bids for harvesting the hay crop at the Warren County closed landfill in Bentonville, Virginia. The County is seeking a contract with a qualified firm to harvest hay and pay the County on a per bale basis. Any resulting contract will be issued on a per-bale basis for one year and up to four consecutive one-year terms. All bidders shall clearly identify the type of bale (round or square) and size (dimensions) to be produced. The qualified firm shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required for harvest. All bidders may visit the site prior to bidding to determine the scope of work. Site visits should be made during normal Warren County Solid Waste Department operating hours. Award will be made to the bidder with the highest price per bale. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
