The City of Asheville’s Water Resources Department is looking for a qualified service provider to provide a temporary turbidity reduction system (pretreatment) for the 31 MGD North Fork Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located at 3374 North Fork Left Fork Road in Black Mountain, North Carolina. This system will consist of proven treatment technologies capable of providing a maximum treatment rate of 25 MGD with a turbidity reduction to reduce raw water turbidity to no more than 5 ntu to the North Fork water treatment system. This work will include the management, operation and maintenance of all equipment and systems related to this treatment system, contracting vendors, and communicating with state and Federal regulators.The estimated duration of this service is 5 years
