ITEM # 2 - TRAILER – (DUAL AXLE LANDSCAPE) DESCRIPTION: An all steel, trailer with low profile, overall length is 14’. Pintle ring connection. CAPACITY: 7,000 lbs. GVWR CONSTRUCTION: A unitized design using 2” x 4” 7 gauge rectangular tubing or 2” x 4” channel frame completely welded throughout for maximum strength. Deck is pressure treated pine decking. Rub railing, gusset support, and set-back jack with foot. BED SIZE: Overall Bed Length 14’, Width 81.5” TAILGATE: 5’ tall ladder gate with expanded mesh over top, self-retained gate pins, fold flat HD ramp gate, spring assist. RUNNING GEAR: Tandem 3,500 lbs. Lippert axles. Each spring will be heavy duty 2,200 pounds minimum capacity. Each spring must have at least four (4) leafs, six (6) max. Both axles to have cambered breaks. BRAKES: Electric brakes on all wheels with breakaway switch and battery installed. The breakaway switch shall include a “Zip” trailer 6-foot breakaway cable made by Fastway. TIRES: Goodyear Marathon Tires ST205/75R15, 6 ply (minimum) Quantity (5) including spare. Coupler must be able to accommodate a 5,000 lb, 3-bolt trailer jack. Also tongue will have two 5/16” x 40” long safety cables with clip on safety hooks. Safety cables, 5,000 lbs, pull strength shall be Master Lock 2829 DAT or equivalent. LIGHTS: General – to include all lights required by the NJDOT including battery breakaway Type – all lights to be LED style Rear Lights – mounted in steel box enclosures on the rear of the fenders.
