Provide services for the installation, maintenance, and removal of holiday lights following the scope of HOLIDAY LIGHTING SERVICE & SUPPLY for Park-in-the-Square and other designated area: Overall Lighting Plan Includes: • Approximately 30 deciduous trees in Park-in-the-Square (average 60’ tall) • One (1) 10’ evergreen tree in front of City Hall • One (1) 20’ deciduous tree at McHenry Avenue and N. Madison Street • Approximately three (3) Trees 25’ or less • Approximately 40 ground-level bushes and 16 ornamental trees (5–20’ tall) throughout Park-in-the-Square • All light strands supplied must emit warm white light. Aside from the light supply, the contractor must still provide all labor, fuel, equipment, extension cords, splitters, safety materials, and vehicles required to complete the service portion. Lighting Method Requirements: • Deciduous and ornamental trees must be “draped” with horizontal strands spaced vertically every 12–16 inches, extending from the top to the base of the tree • Ground bushes will be “stuffed” with light strands • All electrical connections must be elevated, weather-protected, and kept off the ground • Contractor must avoid turf, root, and tree damage. Bucket truck access may be restricted to protect site conditions
