The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, chemicals, and equipment necessary for the applications. The Contractor must also provide a copy of their New Jersey Applicators license indicating proof of certification in Core and category 5- Aquatic Pest Control. Only aquatic herbicides and algaecide, which are registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), shall be used for treatment as labeled. The materials shall be applied in open waters using an air driven boat or other craft acceptably modified for this purpose. All spray equipment shall be in good working condition and be capable of applying the materials in a uniform and controlled manner. The application shall be in strict adherence to Federal, State, and Local Public Health Regulations.
