The Project consists of preparing the Guadalupe ARP and seeks to meet the following objectives for the Guadalupe Light Rail Division: • Identify key gaps for resilience and hazard mitigation. • Prepare a detailed, tailored climate vulnerability assessment specific to key individual assets and operations. This assessment will also include economic impact analysis. • Develop a series of adaptation actions that can be taken over time based on changing conditions. • Conduct a feasibility study to determine where and how on-site renewable energy generation, battery storage, and/or microgrids could be implemented. This work will include a cost-benefit analysis. • Provide supplemental information to the Guadalupe Facility Master Plan that identifies energy efficiency measures, electrification opportunities, facility-specific decarbonization, renewable energy, and energy storage solutions with the goal to phase out fossil fuel usage.
