Replace Existing Roof: THE EXISTING ROOF SHALL BE REMOVED AND ALL NEW ROOFING MATERIAL WILL BE INSTALLED PROPERLY. (There will not be any Change Orders for Multiple Layer Shingles or Multiple Layer Underlayment. It is the Responsibility of the Contractor to Inspect and Submit Bids Accordingly.) (There are no Permit Waivers for This Project, Permits will be pulled by the contractor or sub‑contractor) The Contractor shall remove all composite roofing surface material on the house, to include porches, overhangs, unless specified to the contrary. Strip all existing layers of composition roof shingles and remove all felt to expose decking. The Contractor shall remove all roofing nails and not re‑nail all existing roofing nails, staples and fasteners etc. Wood decking surface shall be free of all old roofing materials (shingles). Note: It is up to the contractor to properly inspect the project and bid accordingly. Change Orders will not be accepted for shingle layers or felt/ Syntetic underlayment layers.
