1 Roof 1: A&B Walkway 1.1 Contractor must remove the existing ballast, EPDM, EPS, and underlying built up roof down to the concrete deck. Ballast Rock must be left at the facility in an area designated by the Maintenance Supervisor, contractor shall dispose of the rest of the material. 1.2 Contractor must clean and prime deck as needed. 1.3 Contractor must fully adhere 2.5” ISO 1.4 Contractor must fully adhere a 60mil EPDM roof system per manufacturer’s current specifications-termination to be term bar up and over existing stone coping. 1.5 Contractor must fabricate and install new unit counter flashing made from 24-gauge galvanized steel. 1.6 Contractor must fabricate and install new 24-gauge Kynar coated steel (or equivalent) over existing stone coping blocks in place of termination bar at perimeter. 1.7 Contractor must remove and dispose of existing gutter and downspout. 1.8 Contractor must fabricate and install new 5” gutter and 3”X4” downspout from 24-gauge Kynar coated steel (or equivalent). Location to be where existing gutter and downspouts are 1.9 Upon completion Contractor must provide a 30 year manufacturer’s parts and labor warranty for the roof and 2 year on the gutter. 2 Roof 2: B&C Walkway 2.1Contractor must remove and dispose of all existing EPDM, ISO built up roofing and wood fiber down to the concrete decking. 2.2 Contactor must clean and prime deck as needed.
