This Contract is for the cleaning, inspection, and repair of the leachate pond liner and the re-installation of three (3) aerators at Inman Landfill. Task 1: Supply materials, labor, and equipment to remove rock ballast, sludge, and leachate from the base of the leachate pond and construct a lined and bermed containment area (or use some other approved method of containment) to segregate liquid and solid materials and place segregated materials into their appropriate containment area. Some leachate may need to be hauled to the City of Mount Vernon Wastewater Treatment Plant for treatment and disposal. CONTRACTOR may be responsible for some hauling if County staff are unavailable at the time. Task 2: Supply materials, labor, and equipment to power wash leachate liner to remove accumulated scum to the point that allows proper inspection of the liner by the CONTRACTOR. 120v power is available onsite; CONTRACTOR shall provide all water or power exceeding 120v as necessary to operate power washer. Task 3: Supply materials, labor, and equipment to remove water from leachate pond generated while pressure washing the liner.
