The Contractor shall provide cold water meters 5/8” x 3/4” through 8”. Meters will be furnished with registers that must have direct read and AMI capability. Registers must have the ability to generate analytic data to readily assist the City with predictive meter maintenance, water loss, comparative consumption across any group or subgroup of meters, consumptive water use across any utility defined classification of water meters by total gallons, gallons per minute and percent use in accordance with all terms, conditions and specifications of this solicitation. All meters must be constructed in accordance with the American Water Works Association (AWWA) latest revision. All meters 1.5” and larger shall be ultrasonic, the City will not accept compound meters. All bids must specify the brand of meter they will provide and must consistently provide only the brand specified for the life of the contract.
