City-owned properties: • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to solicit parties potentially interested; • Provide updates and timely telephone and e-mail contact with assigned City staff; • Monitor and track any required pre-approvals or preliminary submittals from potential buyers to ensure all offers are authentic and will lead to smooth and expedient sales; • Coordinate and attend open house(s) and individual walk-throughs with potential buyers • Coordinate real estate transaction closing with the City’s legal team; • Handle all other customary activities and services associated with real estate transactions including directing potential buyers to respond to the Request for Proposals associated with the properties. • Assist potential buyers with information related to requirements unique to transactions involving a municipality, including directing buyers to City staff with relevant knowledge. In addition, the successful respondent may also be required to: • Provide updates to the City of Fitchburg at periodic meetings; • Provide deliverables, such as marketing and strategic planning reports as specified in each task order that may be issued during the term of the contract.
