The winning bidder (hereafter referred to as CONTRACTOR) shall make backpack ground based, herbicide applications in accordance with the following specifications and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. 1. All areas designated as treatment sites shall be sprayed in accordance with the direction of the Project Supervisor (Elizabeth Nelson @ 434-292-8428) or her representative. 2. Treatment of all areas will be accomplished by backpack ground-based sprayer applications. 3. Herbicide shall be applied to uniformly cover and control target woody vegetation on all acreage specified. 4. Required herbicides and rates used during this project: (Site Prep) a. One and a half (1.5) gal/acre of Mad Dog 5.4 (Brand Specific) b. Twenty-four (24) oz./ac of Arsenal AC (Brand Specific) c. Twenty (20) oz./ac of Garlon (Brand Specific) d. .25% by volume spray solution of a suitable Methylated Seed Oil surfactant. e. Combined treatment must equal at minimum 15 gal,/acre
