The Design-Builder will be responsible for all design, permitting, agency review and approval (including, without limitation, Division of the State Architect [“DSA”], County of Sacramento Building and Planning Division, and other agencies with authority), construction, and close-out of the Project (including DSA), in accordance with the design criteria provided by the District. Such services shall include, without limitation: • Provide project management of Design-Builder’s work activities from design to permitting and agency approvals through completion of construction and close-out, including DSA final close-out. The District will pay all agency fees, except that, for DSA fees, the District will pay only the fees for initial DSA approval or that are necessary for owner-requested changes; all other DSA fees shall be the responsibility of the Design-Builder. • Provide full design and engineering services (including, without limitation, geotechnical and survey services) necessary to complete the design and secure approval for the Project from all agencies.
