The intent of this Competitive Contracting Request for Proposals (“CCRFP”) and resulting contract is to obtain to obtain affordable housing projects to expend federal HOME funds to create and expand the supply of affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing for low and very low-income residents of Camden County (as per HUD guidelines) The County of Camden is presently accepting proposals for its affordable housing initiative available with HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to one or more projects. In accordance with HOME Investment Partnership regulations, all sources of funds must be either committed or expected to be committed within 60 days of the due date of this Request for Proposals. For Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects, the project must have received a reservation of credits from NJ HMFA and be able to provide a good faith offer of equity investment from an investor prior to the execution of a HOME commitment.
