The Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve involves repairing multiple sections of Canyon Road that were damaged by flooding in 2023. The project includes protection of existing items scheduled to remain, designated staging and material storage, dust control, hazardous materials control and spill prevention, and general construction site housekeeping. Additional work includes implementing traffic control measures, installing temporary fencing for environmentally sensitive areas (ESA), applying temporary erosion control and Best Management Practices (BMPs), and placing fiber rolls and silt fencing. The scope also covers construction surveying, demolition, clearing and grubbing, excavation, and dewatering as needed to complete the repairs.
