Helmets shall be low profile to stop all NIJ IIIA level threats with impact protection and ballistic rated hardware. Helmet must meet/exceed fragment performance 17gr V50> 2400 ft/sec (731 m/s). Helmets shall be equipped with a machined aluminum shroud/insert for use with all night vison. Helmets shall include an accessory rail connector system with slots for custom mounting and compatibility with accessories utilizing picatinny system, giving the end user the ability to attach lights, cameras, or communication devices. Helmets shall be equipped with movable pads for impact protection. Helmets must have boltless retention to reduce the size/number of holes in ballistic shell Helmet weight, for all sizing configurations, shall not exceed 3 pounds including helmet shell, shroud, accessory rails, impact liner and retention system. Helmets shall be high cut. Helmets shall be black in color. Helmets shall be made and assembled in the United States of America
