The Successful Bidder must collect all Refuse placed curbside in containers not exceeding fifty (50) pounds from each Full Service Unit and City-designated Commercial Unit on each collection day. There is no weight limit for carts equipped with a lift bar. When the collection schedule is interrupted due to inclement weather, the City may alter the collection schedule which may affect the days of collection, number of units served and quantities collected. 2.2.2 The Successful Bidder must not impose individual limits on containers where Refuse from multiple Full Service units is grouped for collection. 2.2.3 The Successful Bidder must not be required to collect hot loads. 2.2.4 The Successful Bidder must collect Bulk Items placed curbside except as follows: 2.2.4.1 The quantity of Bulk Items exceeds a maximum of three (3). 2.2.4.2 The Bulk Item cannot be collected safely. 2.2.4.3 The Bulk Item will not fit in the collection vehicle. Bulk Items must be placed at curbside, or as close as practicable to Roadways and in close proximity to the Recycling, Yard Trimmings and other Refuse materials on collection day. In the event that Bulk Items cannot be collected, the Successful Bidder must immediately contact the City to provide the location of such item and the reasons why the bulk items were not collected. The City must make the final decision as to whether any Bulk Item must not be collected, and the Successful Bidder must comply with such decision at no additional cost or expense to the City.
