• Court Case Management System (CMS), defined as a comprehensive software application designed to manage and track all information related to the life cycle of legal cases. This system integrates various functionalities with additional systems to support the administration of justice, ensuring that cases are processed efficiently and effectively from initial filing through to resolution. The CMS must include capabilities for document management, financial management, data reporting, local data repository, and integrations with local justice partners and state entities and data repositories. • eFiling solution, inclusive of: o An Electronic Filing Manager (EFM), defined as the component of eFiling that accepts electronic documents from filers via EFSPs and direct API integrations, and securely distributes these documents to the appropriate CMS where they can be reviewed and accepted into the CMS of that court by the Clerk. The EFM also serves copies of documents as requested by the filer. o An Electronic Filing Service Provider (EFSP), defined as the component of eFiling which provides eFiling services directly to filers. The EFSPs collect filing information from the filers and transmit the filing to the EFM for subsequent distribution to the CMS, for review and approval by the clerk.
