Each site currently has an existing septic tank in place. Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission in-house staff will pump septic tanks for decommission and dispose of waste. The selected contractor will then install and connect lateral lines to the existing public sewer main. Pre and post-installation photos will be required from Contractor for their portion of the work. Final inspections from Glynn County Department of Environmental Health and documentation of final approval and satisfactory completion will be required. Therefore, a detailed sequence of work is required. The sequence of work will address the notice time for Public Service Announcements to property owners, Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission staff decommission / pump out activities and lead time to coordinate inspections with Glynn County Environmental Health Department personnel. Pipe and cleanout materials will be pre-purchased by Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission and provided to the Contractor for installation. Sand will also be provided by Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission for backfill. For pricing purposes, please include a per ft price for sewer pipe installation, installation of upper cleanout, site restoration and any mark-up percentages applied to these items for a total, per parcel site price.
