The Offeror understands the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is looking for a qualified contractor to install a service pier at the Carter Bight Landing Road, Surrency, Ga. 31563 (31.861950, -82.114850). The pier is currently at this location. Can you meet this requirement? The Offeror understands they must have a minimum of five (5) years continuous experience in dock installation and must provide a minimum of three (3) references. This information must be included on Attachment H-Reference Form and included as part of the bid package. Can you meet this requirement? The Offeror understands that all sections of the structure (60’ gangway & 30’ service piers or docks – 2 of these) will be placed to the right side/downstream side of the boat ramp if one is facing the water. The installation will be entirely parallel to the ramp. Can you meet this requirement The Offeror understands they must drive 5" pile anchors at 5 locations, 4 on the service pier and 1 on the gangway. Can you meet this requirement? ? The Offeror understands they must provide 5" sch. 40 galvanized pile anchors, 2 pieces per location driven and welded together. Can you meet this requirement? The Offeror understands they must install 6" telescoping pile sleeve to fit over the driven anchor piles. Can you meet this requirement? The Offeror understands they must install supporting piles to a sufficient depth in the river bed and place the structures relative to those with proper anchoring. Can you meet this requirement?
