i. PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES: The selected firm will perform functions such as but not limited to the following during the pre-construction phase of the project (any functions strictly prohibited by statute will not be requested or allowed): a. Cost estimating during all design stages b. Budgeting c. Scheduling for the pre-construction and construction phases of the project d. Constructability and value engineering reviews to ensure current estimated construction cost is within project budget parameters e. Participation in all programming and design phases project team meetings and formal design reviews f. Subcontractor prequalification, solicitation and bidding g. Preparation of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimate h. Market surveys of material and labor ii. CONSTRUCTION SERVICES: The selected firm will perform functions such as but not limited to the following during the construction phase of the project (any functions strictly prohibited by statute will not be requested or allowed): a. Procure and furnish all materials, equipment, tools, services and labor required to complete all work shown or described in the Contract Documents b. Conduct weekly, and special as needed, progress/coordination meetings with project team members on project site c. Coordinate and manage work of all entities performing activities on the project site related to the Work required to construct the project d. Maintain a safe work environment at all times at the project site e. Prepare and submit monthly cost and schedule updates for Owner review
