The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the construction of a 210 million gallon storage reservoir, which will be located adjacent to the existing Leonard Terminal Storage Reservoir. This project is located in Leonard, Texas, adjacent to the Leonard Water Treatment Plant. The project will involve the construction of three earthen embankment sections, utilizing the existing embankment on the existing reservoir for the fourth embankment section. The reservoir will have a lining system, which will be covered with soil cement and an underdrain system. The project will include concrete-encased inlet and outlet pipes and a connection to an existing pipeline. Other construction items include valves, miscellaneous piping, electrical, instrumentation, SCADA items, access roads, and miscellaneous equipment.
